Runbin Dong started Mama Chen’s, a Chinese dumpling business, with his mom in 2023 while he was working at Moderna, and learned firsthand the marketing limitations that small business owners face. So he worked with co-founders Paul Greenham and Kit Zhang to build out a solution - an AI-powered platform that gathers customer-generated content, polishes it and curates it into engaging, branded social media posts for the business. Their platform effortlessly creates an active social media presence, increasing trust and customer loyalty in addition to foot traffic and revenue for business.

We were introduced to Runbin last summer and were excited by the solution he was building for SMBs and service-based businesses. Since then, we’ve been following their progress - first winning an NC IDEA MICRO grant last fall, then being accepted into the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT) Fellowship in the winter. As soon as they announced their pre-seed round, we were ready to partner up! The team has the right background to build this business, and it shows in their early traction with food and beverage customers. We are looking forward to supporting them as they continue to grow!
