Heads Together Health Joins Primordial

Kevin Carneiro, a physician at UNC who had treated thousands of concussions over 15 years felt like he was providing good quality of care, but couldn’t confirm it because of the limitations of data capture in the EMR system. He discussed it with friend Anthony Volpe, a data scientist with an analytics software company, and the two worked together to solve the problem with AI insights. They founded Heads Together Health in 2017 and quickly brought on Steve DeVrieze as CEO to build out the business and commercialize to customers.

We were introduced to Steve and Heads Together Heath in October of last year and have kept in contact and stayed up to date on progress as they continued to grow. They have assembled an impressive team to support their growth and we've also seen some promising traction with health systems, concussion centers and sports medicine departments at leading universities. We believe they are poised for growth and we are looking forward to supporting them in their journey.
