Virnika Joins Primordial

We’re excited to announce that Virnika is the latest addition to the Primordial community! Located in Chapel Hill, Virnika provides an LLM-powered solution for answering calls at restaurants, including building takeout orders and facilitating transactions. Co-founders Charles Douthitt, Cameron Long, and Adil Asif worked together previously at Takeout Central, a restaurant delivery service that they helped scale to over $12M in revenue. Through their experience working with restaurant owners and operators, they realized that restaurants are losing thousands of dollars in revenue every year in missed calls. To address this opportunity, they added Logan Whitehouse to the founding team to help bring an AI-powered solution to life that will serve as a digital employee for restaurants, to answer both general inquiry calls and take orders as necessary. They are set to launch their pilot service to a select group of early beta users in April 2024. 

We were first introduced to Charles back in November through fellow founder Jud Bowman, and we were immediately impressed with their deep industry knowledge. After spending some time getting to know Charles and Cameron, we believe they are a great fit for Primordial. They have an extremely capable team with a compelling solution and we’re looking forward to supporting them as they continue to grow.
